Description
OceanTRx7-850 : In a typical application, a combination of TWO OceanTRx7-850 multiband C/Ka and Ku/Ka systems :
- system 1 – Ku/Ka terminal with 40W Ka BUC and 80W Ku BUC
- system 2 – C/Ka terminal with 40W Ka and 80W C band BUC
- dual configuration on Ka-band provides seamless connectivity between satellites in MEO/LEO constellations or GEO. Continuous service is assured by automatically transferring active Ka-band links between setting and rising LEO/MEO satellites. The system knows to automatically switching to backup C or Ku band GEO links in the case of deep rain fade or when exiting a MEO/LEO spot coverage area.
What is the new into that modern system ?
- ORBIT has removed ADMX/BDMX solution for ADE/BDE connection. Newer Fiber optical equipment provides all RF connections .
- Some axis gears has been modified and enforced taking to consideration heavy loads of BUCs allocated on Tilt axis. The system also become heavier doe to the new multiband feed assemblies .
- System RF ends has been modified with newer band rotators.
